107th Engineer Association

History of the beginning of the Michigan Army National Guard
SFC Joe Battisfore sent me a link and information about an "e-book" available free of charge from Google.  If you follow the link below it will take you to the website where you can download the booklet which was originally published in 1893 and digitized in 2009.  The booklet talks about the early history of the "Michigan Brigade" which is the forerunner of the modern day Army National Guard.  Included in the book is a lot of history of the Calumet Light Guards and hence the 107th Engineer Battalion.

Thanks to SFC Battisfore for providing this historical information.
